The Centre for Clinical Practice and Practical Training of non-medical health programmes, established on January 1, 2022, is responsible for the administration of clinical practice with healthcare services providers and the operation of practical classrooms

All information can be found here:

 Clinical Practice

  • information about Occupational Health and Safety training (OHS) and Fire Protection (FP);
  • procedure for securing clinical practice;
  • list of healthcare facilities with which the faculty has concluded a contract for the implementation of clinical practice;
  • other documents related to clinical practice;
  • how to proceed with injuries during the completion of clinical practice;
  • up-to-date information on the state of healthcare facilities in terms of clinical practice.

The practical classrooms are intended for practical training where students of non-medical health programmes learn and improve in providing nursing care. During training and self-study, they practice basic activities and skills on special models, which they will use not only during the completion of clinical practice but also when providing first aid. Students can practice techniques such as dressing, wound care, collection of biological material, administration of injections, bladder catheterization or use of an electrocardiograph on mannequins simulating natural conditions.

The aim of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Centre for Clinical Practice and Practical Training is to continuously improve the quality of higher education with a focus on improving the quality of educational activities in relation to new current knowledge from professional practice and to strengthen the link between studying for practice and preparation for future employment of students of non-medical healthcare programmes in practice.

Dear students, from March 1, 2023, please send your applications for drafting a clinical practice contract and inquiries related to the administration of clinical practice of FHS students to the email address cppv@upol.cz
