Doctoral study

General information on doctoral study

The Faculty of Health Sciences has presently accredited three doctoral programmes which are Nursing, Health Protection and Promotion and Applied Clinical Rehabilitation. From 2025, the doctoral programme of Applied Clinical Rehabilitation will be available in the English language, too. Doctoral programmes are offered in the full-time or combined form of study. The content of each programme is defined by the study plan including the list of all courses of the given study programme with the credit requirements. Students are obliged to familiarize themselves with the study plan and create their individual study plan (ISP) according to it in consultation with the supervisor. The sample ISP can be downloaded from the website of the relevant doctoral study programme. The ISP is one of the documents submitted at the enrolment to study.

Annual Report

At the end of each academic year, doctoral students submit their annual report summarizing their study outcomes achieved during that period. The deadline for fulfilment of study requirements is mentioned in the schedule of the academic year on the faculty website. The students will submit the annual report with all other requirements specified in the Annual Report Guideline to the Student Affairs Office by 31st August.
